New Features
- Mobile App – Raisin Platform Authentication
We have added support for platform-level authentication, allowing participants to log in across the platform rather than being limited to a single event. Participants registered for multiple events can now view and switch between all their events with one login experience, while single-event participants will continue to use the existing event login process. (MA-4042). - Mobile App – UX Recruit Tab Improvements
The Recruit tab has been enhanced to make it easier for participants to recruit and engage supporters. Updates include a redesigned Team QR Code with a more concise description, an improved ‘Send a Message’ tile for a more consistent experience, and a ‘Social Sharing’ tile that enables participants to quickly share their team fundraising page on Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok. (MA-4534 & MA-4535). - Mobile App – UX Donations Tab Improvements
The Donations tab has been enhanced to improve donor management and participant engagement. Participants can now send thank-you messages to individual donors or all donors at once, with the app tracking which donors have been thanked. Support for team donations is available for organizations and fundraising platforms where the feature is enabled. Social sharing options have also been updated with configurable channels, including support for WhatsApp. (MA-4536 & MA-3443). - Mobile App – UX Fundraise Tab Improvements
The Fundraise page has been refreshed with improved user experience. Enhancements include a smaller QR code, updated social sharing options, configurable WhatsApp and LinkedIn channels, and an improved sharing experience that copies the fundraising link to the clipboard while launching the selected platform. (MA-3535 & MA-4532). - Mobile App – UX My Team Tab Improvements
The Team Progress meter is now displayed as the top tile on the Overview tab, with a link to the Team Page for easy access to team management. The tile is visible to all team members, while editing options are available only to team captains. (MA-1334 & MA-1332). - Mobile App – Featured Tile
A new Featured Story tile has been added to the app, allowing organizations to highlight important content and increase participant engagement. Each featured story can include an image or video, descriptive content, and an optional call-to-action (CTA) button that links to either a static URL or a dynamic fundraising page, such as a participant’s Personal or Donation Page. Multiple featured stories can be configured and displayed in a carousel, with customizable sort order and active/inactive settings. (MA-2803). - Mobile App – Disruption Screen CTA Enhancements
The Disruption screen has been enhanced to support an optional call-to-action (CTA) button beneath the content. The CTA can be configured to open an external website in the device’s browser or deep link users directly to a specific page within the app, such as the Donations or Fundraise page, providing a more seamless navigation experience. (MA-1591) (MA-5284). - Mobile App – Challenge Configuration Enhancements
Challenges can now specify which activities count toward the challenge, such as walking, running, or reading. Challenge goals can be measured by Minutes, Distance, or Points, while activity tracking can remain configured separately using Points. Challenge totals, progress meters, and leaderboards will display the measurement selected for each challenge. (MA-5032). - Messaging – One-Time Opt-In Message for Non-Subscribed Users
Added a configuration option that allows users who have not opted in through the website to receive a one-time message inviting them to opt in. Once a user opts in, they can be added to the appropriate messaging journey based on their event participation, such as Recruitment or Coaching. (MA-3550).
Resolved
- Updated Team Names in PDF Flyers
Resolved an issue where newly generated PDFs continued to display a participant’s original team name after it had been updated. PDFs now correctly reflect the participant’s current team name. This applies only to clients using custom PDFs. (MA-4796). - Improved PDF Display on Mobile Devices
Resolved an issue where dynamically generated custom PDFs did not display correctly on Mobile devices. PDFs are now flattened before being displayed to ensure the correct font and formatting are maintained. This applies only to clients using custom PDFs. (MA-5202). - Mobile App – Required Field Indicator for Check Deposits
Added an asterisk to the “Who Gets Credit?*” field in Event Manager Check Deposit to clearly indicate that the field is required. (MA-5287) & (MA-5152). - Mobile App – Resolved Persistent Login Issue
Fixed an issue where users who had Remember Me enabled and signed in using biometrics were automatically logged back in after selecting Log Out. Users can now successfully log out and sign in with a different account without needing to uninstall the app or fail biometric authentication multiple times. (MA-4559). - Mobile App – Fixed Company Donor Name Display
Resolved company name display issues during mobile check deposits on iOS and Android. On Android, the Deposit Preview now displays the updated company name regardless of when the Company donor type is selected. On iOS, the company name now correctly displays in the check deposit details along with the donor’s address information. (MA-5222) & (MA-5223). - Mobile App – Fitbit Integration Update
Updated the Fitbit integration to support Fitbit’s new APIs. This ensures continued compatibility with Fitbit devices and services as the platform transitions to its new integration requirements. (MA-4565). - Mobile App – Android 16 Target API Update
Updated the app to target Android 16 (API Level 36) to meet Google Play requirements before the August 30, 2026 deadline. This update ensures the app remains compliant and allows future updates to be released to the Google Play Store. (MA-5152).
Admin Tool Enhancements
- Mobile App – Adoption Report Enhancements
The Mobile Adoption Report now supports selecting multiple event programs in a single report, eliminating the need to run separate reports for each program. The report also includes the Event Program as the first column to clearly identify each record. (MA-5050). - Mobile App – Active Events Report
Introduced an Active Events report under Configuration. Users can select an Event Program and date range to view active event information. The report is view-only, with options to download the report, but events cannot be edited. (MA-4237). - Messaging – Active Events Report
The Active Events report is now available under Configuration. Users can filter the report by Event Program, Event Season, and Event Date range. Event Name and Event Date can also be edited directly within the report, with changes saved when leaving the field. (MA-4622). - Messaging – Participation Type Targeting and Suppression
Enhanced messaging to support targeting or excluding specific participation types, Blackbaud LO Only. Organizations can enter participation types to include or suppress within the selected event and segment. (MA-5247). - Messaging – Message Type Option
A Message Type dropdown is now available with Coaching as the default option and Recruitment as an additional option. This allows organizations to send coaching or recruitment messages from the Admin Portal using the appropriate targeting logic. (MA-5248). - Messaging – Send Now Enhancement
The Send Now option is now available for admins to send text messages immediately instead of waiting for the 15-minute scheduled process. This option is available for journeys and scheduled messages. (MA-4551). - Messaging – Message Journey Configuration by Season
Added the ability to test text messages from the Admin Tool using designated test users. Messages can be configured with different fields, previewed, and sent to test users to validate content and functionality before being sent to a larger audience. (MA-4623). - Messaging – Test Users by Event Season
Added the ability to designate specific users as test users for an event season. These users can continue receiving normal messages and can also receive test messages from the Admin Tool. Test users bypass normal targeting and segmentation rules and can receive the same test message multiple times for validation. (MA-4624). - Messaging – One-Time Text Message Configuration Option
Updated one-time messaging to relabel the content options and merge RCS and MMS into a single messaging option. This aligns the Admin Portal messaging experience with the updated configuration already in place. (MA-4546). - Messaging – One-Time Messages Time Zone Update
We updated the time zone label for one-time messages to align with each event’s configured time zone. (MA-5049). - Messaging – Impoved Content Download Selection
When downloading content for an event program, users are now prompted to select an Event Season before downloading. This ensures that only content associated with the selected event season is included in the download. (MA-3983).
