Nuclavis Mobile App 4.0: A Smarter Fundraising Experience
At Nuclavis, we’re constantly looking for opportunities to improve the participant experience. With the release of Nuclavis Mobile App 4.0, we’ve focused on one thing above all else: creating a more intuitive and effective user experience that drives engagement and fundraising results.
This latest release represents a series of intentional, data-driven enhancements designed to make it easier for participants to connect with supporters, share their story, and raise more funds.
Letting the Data Guide the Experience
When evaluating opportunities for improvement, we didn’t rely on assumptions. We analyzed user behavior, conversion rates by communication channel, Google Analytics insights, and the relationship between app usage, donation activity, and fundraising outcomes.
The results provided a clear roadmap.
By understanding which channels participants use most often and which channels generate the highest conversion rates, we were able to redesign key areas of the app to prioritize the actions most likely to drive donations.
Our goal was simple: maximize engagement by putting the most valuable tools exactly where users need them.
Optimizing the Space That Matters Most
One of the biggest areas of focus in the 4.0 release was optimizing the content displayed above the fold.
Every pixel of screen real estate is valuable, especially on mobile devices. We carefully evaluated how participants interact with the app and made several strategic adjustments:
- Reduced the size of the QR code to create more usable space.
- Grouped direct communication channels together for easier access.
- Added WhatsApp as a channel, providing another powerful communication option for participants.
- Consolidated social sharing channels into a dedicated section.
- Ordered channels based on actual conversion performance and usage data.
These changes may seem incremental on the surface, but they’re designed to reduce friction, simplify decision-making, and guide participants toward the actions most likely to generate fundraising success.
It’s a perfect example of our philosophy: small, intentional improvements compounded over time create meaningful results.
Introducing Featured Stories
Alongside the UX enhancements, we’re incredibly excited to introduce one of the most requested additions to the platform: Featured Stories.
Organizations can now spotlight the moments and messages that matter most directly within the mobile app.
Featured Stories can include:
- A survivor story
- A mission moment
- A corporate partner spotlight
- An event announcement
- A matching gift opportunity
Organizations can highlight content using:
- An Image or Video
- Content
- Button with CTA
Even better, multiple Featured Stories can be displayed simultaneously, allowing users to swipe between stories and engage with the content that resonates most with them.
Imagine promoting a corporate matching campaign front and center, driving participants to take advantage of a limited-time matching opportunity. Or showcasing a powerful survivor story that reinforces the mission and inspires additional giving. Featured Stories create endless opportunities to connect fundraising activity directly to impact.
Incremental Innovation, Maximum Impact
The Nuclavis Mobile App 4.0 release reflects our ongoing commitment to helping organizations raise more by continually refining the participant experience.
Every update was informed by real-world usage data, conversion insights, and a deep understanding of how fundraisers engage and communicate in today’s mobile-first world.
Rather than reinventing the experience, we focused on making it better, faster, and more effective where it matters most.
Looking Ahead
We’re thrilled about the possibilities this release creates for our nonprofit partners and their participants. From optimized communication tools to dynamic Featured Stories, Nuclavis Mobile App 4.0 is built to help organizations engage supporters more effectively and maximize fundraising potential.
As we head into the fall event fundraising season, we’re excited to see the impact these enhancements will have on participation, engagement, and fundraising results.
The future of fundraising is mobile, data-driven, and user-focused. With Nuclavis Mobile App 4.0, we’re helping organizations get there faster.
